FROM THE OWNERS

Thirteen years ago we started our family fast with a set of twin boys, Jonas and Foster. We brought them home to an old dairy farm and wanting to make “magical spaces” for them, we grew a sunflower house with morning glory walls and for many summers, we had countless picnics within those walls. The twins, with an addition of a third son, Asher, quickly grew out of the confines of that sunflower house and started to make their own magical spaces on our 50-acre property, leaving the immediate yard and fields all to myself and my husband! But those giant sunflowers are still with us; saving seeds from year to year, they still grow proudly in our gardens amongst our pumpkins and field of wildflowers. Our farm quickly became the gathering spot for our families — celebrating holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, gatherings both large and small.  Fast forward to 2019, when we hosted our first wedding: my sister and her now husband, who visit us whenever they can to escape their busy Brooklyn lives, chose our magical country setting for their big day. They brought friends and family from far and wide to our little country farm in upstate New York, who all fell in love with the nature and beauty our farm offered, and thus the seeds for The Fields were planted. We had plans for hosting a variety of events this summer, but 2020 had different plans for everyone! This year has shown us the importance of enjoying what's most important - friends and family.  The Fields is the perfect backdrop for your next celebration and we look forward to sharing our "magical spaces" with you and yours!
